This is one of the cards that religious fanatics will use to tell you that the Tarot is evil, so you will rot in Hell if you read Tarot cards. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
This card seemed like a no-brainer on the Black Friday Christmas shopping weekend, where people are competing and pushing and shoving each other to get bargains at the stores.
This card shows three young women celebrating or working together towards a certain goal. Some view these women as the Three Fates in Greek Mythology. The youngest was Clotho, who had the job of spinning the thread of human life, or deciding when a person was born. Lachesis measured the thread woven by Clotho’s spindle, and determined the destiny of the person. Atropos cut the thread, thus deciding the time of death for the person.
Both of these cards represent a young person, a teen or young adult, or somebody who is in a stage of their life where they are learning something new.
You are at a party, and have been standing near the same person for a while now. They have smiled at you once, and even poured you a drink when it was realized you were both having the same thing. Yet you are not getting a real friendly vibe from this guest. What’s up with that?
Threes are more stable than Aces or Twos, because a triangle signifies harmony and flow. Threes normally indicate a group activity, a coming together for a cause. We see work completed and done more creatively because the energies of three women came together in the Three of Discs.
In both the Motherpeace Tarot Deck and the Rider Waite one, Swords represent communications. The Daughter of Swords is ready to make things happen, but must be careful not to be hasty. She is filled with ideas she wants to make real, but is the youngest of the Swords court, so is young and inexperienced. I love the energy in this card!
Scorpio people are either very good or very bad, they have no shades of gray. And you can see these behaviors in just one Scorpio!
The Eight of Wands can be interpreted in two ways. Something in your life is moving at lightning speed at this time. This card is also known as “the arrows of love.” Just be careful you know what you are doing!
The night of Halloween and All Saint's Day is the night of the year where the veil between life and death is the thinnest. So if you want to try to contact someone, this is the night!
