The Astrological sign which a person's Venus is in tells the story of their love life and their social life. It can be learned how a certain person relates to other people, and the kinds of things they like to do. These things may not be obvious on the first meeting, since they are planetary postions in which the effects will be noticed more as you get to know the person. 9 Comments * If you missed Part 1, you may read it at http://jeanbakula.hubpages.com/hub/The-Mystery-Civilization-of-Lemuria The continent of Lemuria, or Mu, was contemporary with Atlantis, and they knew of each other. But they had large differences. The Atlanteans were technologically advanced, materially sophisticated, imperialist people, builders of cities and momuments. I have returned home from the lecture by Patricia Monaghan, and she was an interesting speaker who has been to Ireland many times. She is originally from Alaska, and had an "adopted" Eskimo grandfather who encouraged her to find out more about her Irish heritage. Being part Irish, I have lately been interested in Irish Goddesses and Myths, things of that sort. I've ordered and looked through all kinds of books, and read many well known authors of Irish lore. But I still can't find what I'm looking for. I was recently invited to a "Celtic Spirituality" event about one month ago. It was free, and I said yes, then forgot about it. Now I'm reading a book called The Red Haired Girl From The Bog, by Patricia Monaghan. She has been to Ireland many times, but this book describes her first trip there. She finds beauty, and loves the way the Irish tell stories. Much Celtic lore was lost to history, because the language is mostly spoken, people didn't write much during the early history. So to learn, it appears one must just explore around the countryside, and speak to everyone they can. Anyway, the event I'm attending is tonight. After an email to confirm the lecture day and time, I realized the lecture is being given by the woman who wrote the book I mentioned above, which I am now reading. Isn't that quite the coincidence? I'm so excited, and now am hopeful that my questions will be answered. I finally got to a part where she talks about the Goddess/Saint Brigid, and that is the kind of information I've been searching for! So I can't wait, and I'll let you know how it turns out! © 2012 Jean Bakula All Rights Reserved |
